Responsive design

One interface, every screen — from phone to wide desktop.

Interfaces that adapt cleanly across devices and screen sizes, so the experience holds up whether someone is on a phone or a desktop. We build them new and bring existing pages up to the same standard.

  • 1 codebase for every screen
  • Phone to desktop same experience
  • Since 2000 in software delivery
Phone, tablet, desktop one interface, three layouts
The layout adapts; the content stays the same.

What we cover

Designed for the screen in your hand

One interface that rearranges itself for the device, instead of a separate site for each.

  • Smartphone

    Small screens first

Navigation, forms and content arranged for thumbs and short screens.

  • Tablet

    The sizes in between

Layouts that reflow cleanly instead of stretching or squeezing.

  • Desktop

    Wide screens

Content that uses the width well without becoming hard to read.

  • Existing sites

Bring existing pages up to date

Fixed-width pages moved to a layout that adapts across devices.

How we check it

“Works on every screen” means testing every screen.

A layout is only responsive if it holds up at the sizes your visitors actually use.

  • Layouts reviewed on phone, tablet and desktop widths
  • No sideways scrolling or clipped content on small screens
  • Buttons and form fields sized for fingers as well as a mouse
  • Japanese and English text both checked, since line lengths differ

How to get started

From first inquiry to kick-off, in four steps.

Write to us in Japanese or English. A bilingual member of the team replies in the same language.

  1. Tell us what you need

Send the contact form or request a callback. A rough idea is enough: what the system should do, who will use it and when you need it.

  2. Meet online, under NDA

We sign a non-disclosure agreement first, then walk through your requirements, existing systems and constraints in an online meeting.

  3. Receive a proposal and estimate

Scope, team, schedule and the engagement model that fits: contract development, a dedicated lab team, or maintenance and operations.

  4. Kick off with your bilingual PM

Your project manager sets up the meeting rhythm, reporting and tools, and the team starts on the first deliverable.

FAQ

Questions we hear first

Can you make our existing site responsive?

Yes. We review the current pages first, then bring them over in bounded releases so the site keeps working throughout.

Do you build mobile apps too?

Yes. We build iOS and Android apps as well; responsive design covers the website and web application side.

Does it work in Japanese and English?

Yes. Both languages are checked at every screen size, because Japanese and English text wrap differently.

Can we work with your team in Japanese?

Yes. Status reports, documentation and QA sign-off can all run in Japanese, with weekly reports in both Japanese and English.
